“Her work explores the issues of possibilities, reality and fantasy: shaping and inhabiting speculative space.”

Born in Indonesia, Christina Sandi Tjandra lives and works in Toronto, Canada.

Since a young age, she found visual representation as a good way of communicating her thinking process. Her work explores the issues of possibilities, reality and fantasy: shaping and inhabiting speculative space.

By intersecting her education in architecture and the whimsicality of dreams, her art practice explores unexpected architectural situations. Christina’s works depict her curiosity of inhabiting unfamiliar environments, roaming alone in her adventurous journey.

Christina is currently represented by #Hashtag Gallery
